Overall Objectives
To meet and exceed the financial goals as set individually by Herman Miller Japan.
Sales lead generation and frequent visits to dealers, A&D and clients. The job is to develop interest and create buying potential for Herman Miller products. This is both in partnership with the dealers and also independantly. To involve and co-ordinate Herman Miller and dealer resources against sales opportunities. To have ownership and be accountable for the opportunity until point of order and delivery.
Provide accurate forecasting information in a timely manner and other useful market information.
Specific responsibilities
Strong focus on identifying and creating sales opporunities for Herman Miller and dealers.Promote Herman Miller products and services at all times and act in the best interests of Herman Miller in order to meet and exceed the individual volume target.Through frequent and regular visits build meaningful and productive relationships with the assigned dealer(s).Involve specialist Herman Miller sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities. These would include Ergonomic Solutions, Global Account Management, international colleagues, and the US colleagues.Own the day to day relationship and be the prime commercial contact of choice with designated dealers at all levelsProvide accurate and timely reports to the Management and ensure CRM system is accurate and updatedExpected Competences
