The Dealership Specialist I is important to the success of the business by serving as a key link between Dealership Operations and Dealership Accounting. This is an entry level position that performs a variety of clerical level duties in support of dealership accounting and dealership transactions. In most cases the Specialist will sit within the Dealership. Accounting related tasks are selective, in some cases the individual may not post to the general ledger. The successful individual will have demonstrated ability and energetic drive to develop both internal and external service and solution-oriented relationships. Gaining business and automotive acumen are outgrowths from his/her efforts.
The Dealership Specialist I reports to the Business Manager.
Position Overview
Area of Responsibility
Daily reconciliation for cash, checks and credit card receipts
Data entry and/or scanning of Accounts Payable invoices including General Ledger coding.
Manufacturer AR statement invoice data entry
Provide support for New & Used Retail Car Deals review process
Able to review documents for accuracy
Submission of Finance Contracts to lenders
Track Key Performance Indicators including Schedule aging criteria
Understanding Operational Internal Audit Controls
Provide support for DMV Functions, New and Used Car Title and Licensing
Filing and other clerical duties as assigned

The expected pay range for this position is $16.50 - $24.00 Hourly.Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
