A career in our Turnaround Management practice will provide you with the opportunity to support our clients survive an imminent crisis or improve the performance of underperforming businesses. In joining, you’ll help clients, among other things, reduce balance sheet stress, generate cash and reduce costs or refinance to find the best source of capital to support their business objectives. Whatever the solution, we help them manage road blocks until the job is done.

Our team provides organizations with pragmatic solutions for financial and operational restructuring and resource management for a swift recovery and sustained future success. 

Your work will range from managing cash in distressed situations to restructuring balance sheets and income statements, from advising on capital management to manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a high-energy and successful professional with extensive knowledge and experience in restructuring, performance improvement, transaction advisory, and financial & operational due diligence.

The appointee will have a wide range of business experience including advisory experience and general management. The individual will reflect the operational distinctiveness of being a business savvy, solution focused business professional used to having an impact, determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

The successful candidate will develop and execute jointly with the rest of the Italian senior Turnaround Management team a specific strategy focused on target clients and distinctive go-to-market propositions. The Senior Manager will autonomously generate and develop commercial opportunities. He will lead cases as team leader, potentially undertaking, on a temporary basis, client’s management positions.

The preferred candidate will have:

Good advisory experience, ideally developed at international level within a leading consulting firm, supporting private equity and corporate

Specific expertise in leading financial restructuring processes in Italy

Good knowledge of industrial processes

Proven capability to review internal processes within complex organizations

Experience in supporting cash management and identifying and implementing working capital improvement opportunities and strong track record in the redesign and implementation of short term cash forecasting processes and tools

In Addition, the Candidate will Have

A developed network across the Italian Financial community within Corporate businesses and the Private Equity population

A proven and, ideally, high profile recent track record of successfully delivering major projects across restructuring, performance improvement and transaction advisory

Demonstrable track record in converting business contacts and leads

Clear determination to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace

Proven people and market leadership ability coupled with a track record of initiating, building and developing a new business

Robust financial experience and analytical rigor

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university – higher level degrees including Master level are a plus

Fluency in English and Italian is essential and a third language is considered a plus

Soft skills
