Dean Fluor Facilities Logistics Manager

Summary Job Purpose: Provides materials, equipment, and supplies in support of operations and maintenance activities at a secure government site. Responsible for ordering, tracking, receiving, safeguarding, and distribution of supplies and property to maintain adequate stock levels throughout the installation based on project needs. The Logistics and Property Control Supervisor has a solid understanding of the Dean/Fluor Logistics processes and procedures, implements attention to detail in following logistics procedures, and makes process improvements to existing procedures in a continuous improvement cycle. Supervises, mentors the Material Handler GMT position(s) in performance of warehouse and logistics duties.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintains ordering, tracking, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating, enforcing, or initiating logistics program policies and procedures.

· Establishes and maintains stock levels for supplies, materials, tools, and equipment required for operations and maintenance activities

· Maintains tool inventory control through issue, distribution, and staging to site technicians or locations as required

· Manages and controls inventory levels through periodic physical counts and audits, and reconciles data in supply management database

· Coordinates requirements for establishing min/max materials levels, and ordering when required

· Responsible for ordering, tracking, receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and inventory control of tools, supplies, and equipment through procurement and receiving software

· Performs credit card purchases and local materials and tools acquisitions as required, and reconciles purchases in online statement tool

· Ensures all warehouse processes and activities are in compliance with established regulatory requirements, including custody of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), recycling program, and government security processes.

· Maximizes the storage capacity of the warehouse and shops through efficient management at receipt and during storage

· Coordinates tool calibrations and equipment vetting to/from site

· Coordinates logistics support with maintenance technicians as required

· Supervises the Material Handler GMT position(s) in performance of warehouse and logistics duties.

· Responsible for the handling and physical movement of property

· Operates motorized and manual Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

· Enters data into MAXIMO as required

· Adheres to ORM safety procedures and safety meetings. Generates safety reports and maintains related safety records.

· Promotes personal safety as well as the safety of coworkers

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· At minimum a high school diploma or GED coupled with five (5) or more years' experience in supply, logistics, shipping and receiving (or high school diploma coupled with 4-year bachelor’s degree) with knowledge and familiarity with the procurement process.

· Must have understanding of managing supply operations for a large operations and maintenance program.

· Must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph

· Must be willing to carry a shop radio or cell phone when on duty to enable prompt emergency response.

· Must comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.

· Must be a team player committed to work in a quality environment.

· Must be willing to perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.

· Must conform to all city, state and federal licensing and certification requirements.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Must be able to work as needed including various shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.

· Must be available 24/7/365 with exception for personal time off that will be covered by delegate.

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Knowledge of CMMS, preferably Maximo.

Prior experience in Government/military property and supply management preferred.

3.       Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

4.       Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

7.       Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

8.       Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

9.       Identify and understand the speech of another person.
