Position Overview:
As a Senior Data Management Analyst at Circle K, you will play a crucial role in managing our PIN debit management processes to secure, maintain, and enhance significant financial benefits to Circle K. You will ensure compliance with agreements, analyze historical data to set and track volume targets, and collaborate with card processors and brands to optimize our financial debit routing performance. This position manufactures a significant financial impact on our payment operations while also providing backup support to various payment operational positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and own the management of debit transactional routing, ensuring compliance with established agreements.Generate volume targets based on accurate historical data analysis to achieve maximum financial benefit to Circle K.Track actual volume against targets and suggest routing debit routing table adjustments as necessary.Collaborate with card processors and card brands to achieve maximum financial contribution to Circle K based on volume performance and implement necessary adjustments.Utilize ARC (project tracking software) to input relevant data and keep all stakeholders informed.Present performance and financial results to relevant parties as needed.Secondary Responsibilities:
Provide backup support to the Chargeback Processing group, including fulfilling ticket requests and monitoring fraud.Assist in site setups with processors and card brands to ensure credit card acceptance at our locations.Conduct data analytics to support internal teams and collaborate with external groups as required.Assist Payment Operations Team as needed.Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Excellent math and analytical skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Preferred Skills:
Proficient or willing to quickly learn external data sources.Experience with Power BI or willingness to learn.Ability to deep dive into data and identify trends or underlying behaviors.Comfort in presenting findings to internal and external groups.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the retail or financial services industry.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.Familiarity with project tracking software, especially ARC, is a plus.#LI-WW2
