**Job Title: Debug Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for diving into the core components of computer systems to diagnose and repair electronic circuit board assemblies. This role involves verification testing and in-depth analysis to identify issues when servers fail.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform verification testing, diagnosing, and repairing of electronic circuit board assemblies.
+ Analyze server issues by logging into the server via SSH and reviewing log files produced by tools running in Linux.
+ Address challenges such as servers failing at POST and understanding the interaction between CPU, DIMMs, BIOS, etc.
+ Utilize foundational knowledge of computer operations at the electronic component level.
+ Complete on-the-job training to reach a level of independent work within three weeks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Basic knowledge of Linux.
+ Troubleshooting and debugging skills.
+ Understanding of electronic components and computer operations.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Understanding of SSH or Telnet.
+ Foundational knowledge from school-level education in electronic components and computer operations.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a clean, climate-controlled facility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.60
