Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)The Deburring Technician is responsible for tapping holes, performing assembly operations, and removing sharp edges, raised metal and surface imperfections generated from various machining operations on a variety of materials to achieve surface finish utilizing various hand tools such as pneumatic die grinders, files and other related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate all deburring equipment required in the performance of the position. Knowledge of deburring media and the selection of the proper type as defined by the work instructions. Ability to perform hand drilling and drill press operations. Utilize measuring equipment such as height gage, micrometers, calipers, radius and thread gages.Ability to read, interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Up to two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
