Decision Automation Product Manager

We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Product Manager to lead the evolution of webMethods Business Rules within our portfolio of decision automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of business rules management and a passion for delivering intuitive, high-impact solutions that drive business outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with global teams across engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver innovative features and capabilities that meet customer needs and advance IBM’s leadership in decision automation.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Product Strategy:Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for webMethods Business Rules, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer feedback, and IBM’s business goals.Conduct customer discovery sessions and market research to identify pain points, opportunities for innovation, and new use cases for business rules.
Drive Development and Delivery:Work with engineering and design teams to translate strategy into prioritized, well-defined product requirements.Participate in the product development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation, testing, and release.
Enable Customer Success:Act as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, helping them understand the value of webMethods Business Rules and how it meets their business needs.Develop and maintain performance benchmarks, monitor feature usage, and evaluate customer feedback to continuously improve product quality and outcomes.
Collaborate Across Teams:Interface with stakeholders across sales, customer success, and marketing to clarify product capabilities, gather insights, and ensure consistent messaging.Partner with global teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet performance, response time, and scalability requirements.
Stay Ahead of the Curve:Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends in decision automation, business rules management, and adjacent fields.Use market insights to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.

Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to make informed decisions and measure success.A proactive approach to solving ambiguous and open-ended problems.
