Job Description

Bitdefender is seeking a Decision Data Scientist to join us in our journey of transforming data into information. For this role we are looking for a self-driven, analytical, and curious person who will be responsible for translating data into business insights and present key findings in a clear, convincing, informative way, and uniquely tailored to suit different audiences.

Responsibilities:
Shape and manipulate sophisticated datasets to discover opportunities for driving value for the business.
Build statistical / machine learning models, diagnose, validate, and improve the performance of these models over time.
Leverage analytical applications to translate data in stories and explain the meaningful conclusions of the analysis in written verbal and visual form.
Work closely with the business’s departmental heads, management, and key stakeholders, in defining and implementing new metrics, data sources or frameworks to support a data-driven decision-making process
Keep up to date with the latest technical or research developments happening in the field

Requirements:
4+ years of professional experience in an analytical role (Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Decision Scientist, etc.).
Advanced experience in Python programming language (for ML/AI) and SQL (for data processing).
Working experience with visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau / etc.) in creating compelling data stories
Working experience in analyzing data using statistical or visualization techniques to identify patterns or trends in the data
Working experience in implementing machine learning models, algorithms and predictive analytics to answer specific business questions
Should be passionate about leveraging AI and data-driven technologies to drive business impact, with a focus on strategic implementation.
Strong balance of business thinking alongside analytical and technical skills.
