Responsibilities • Gathers requirements to design, develop, implement, and support reports, dashboards, and other analytic solutions. Builds provider incentive reporting using HEDIS and other population health quality measures.
• Analyzes healthcare utilization and expense trends.
• Mines, analyzes, and visualizes large, complex datasets. Assists in testing of raw data from payors, as well as internal or external aggregated data sets.
• Protects patient and provider confidentiality and data security by following policies, payor requirements, and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA. Qualifications

Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
• Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science, preferred.

Skills:
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and work with new tools.
• Strong understanding of data concepts including an introductory level knowledge of SQL.
• Attention to detail and ability to function independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with precision and in a timely manner.

Experience:
• One year of academic or professional experience analyzing data, required.
• Health care data background, preferred.
• Exposure to creating dashboards in Power BI or Qlik, preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital coding systems (including ICD, CPT, MSDRG, APRDRG) and medical terminology, preferred.
