All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Shift** : Full-time **Job Location** : Remote **The role you’ll contribute:** The Decision Support Analyst applies technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide solutions/improvements within the Physician Enterprise Finance department. This person demonstrates competences in decision support and an ability to utilize tools such as Access, SQL, etc. in order to efficiently convert raw data into useful and actionable information. This person is responsible for creating meaningful applications or tools to support executive decision making. Character traits include: strong work ethic, technical aptitude, trainability, communicative, team player all with a positive “can do” attitude. Excel skills required; Access, SQL, or other programming skills are helpful. **The value that you bring to the team:** **Routine (Monthly/Annually)** · Create business intelligence (BI) applications · Create BI data models and interactive visualizations · Take ownership of projects assigned and support other developers with tasks to complete · Design and configure the BI applications front-end calculations (i.e., Qlik set analysis, aggregations, etc.) as per business requirements · Responsible for interpreting business needs of stakeholders and develop analytical solutions · Collaborate with subject matter experts, project analysts and report/dashboard end users to analyze, provide specifications, and document projects. · Document and tests work products and conducts data quality checks on a regular basis · Coordinate with other developers and analyst on the team to build and share knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of information · Work in partnership with the Data Warehouse team and other stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes · Assist with the build of ETL automation processes for BI applications with the help of AIT. · Adhere to corporate standards and best practices · Analyzes the feasibility of new application and enhancements to existing applications; ensures the application fits the needs of users **Ongoing/Ad-hoc** · Provide technical support for ad-hoc financial reporting or decision support needs. · Maintain appropriate documentation for PE Help Documentation and other Guidelines. · Maintain existing dashboards and reports. · Provide technical support for data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. · Create processes to assist with data gathering for dashboards and reports. **Other | General Skills** · Creates and maintains an up-to-date status report of all priorities, tasks, and issues on a weekly basis. · Effectively collects and creates technical and/or automated solutions to report data. · Sufficiently documents work and ensures cross-training with peers. · Strives to create simple, dynamic, and sustainable applications that look professional and are easy to follow and understand. · Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness with data. Seeks guidance from supervisor when making exceptions to normal workflow. · Ability to not only produce creative solutions/presentations from data, but to effectively communicate complex subjects to lay audiences. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** · Position requires a level of knowledge and training obtained through a college education. A 4-year degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related is required. · The Decision Support Analyst role requires experience with data warehousing tools including but not limited to SQL, Access, VBA, etc. · Independent decisions are required in order to determine the best method to complete assigned tasks. However, the person in this position has latitude in developing a plan to reach the desired results. **Preferred Qualifications:** · 2-3 year experience in development, testing and implementation of reports and dashboards · 1-3 years of physician/healthcare finance experience. · 1-3 years of business-related experience. · Physician Financial Reporting and Analysis · Business Intelligence Software (QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI, or any BI report & dashboard tool.) · Healthcare Information Systems (i.e., Epic) · Python · HTML This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
