Mission Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer with proven experience in the decommissioning of nuclear power plants. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field. You will be responsible for ensuring that decommissioning projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Your Responsibilities
Lead and manage decommissioning projects, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Conduct detailed assessments and analyses of nuclear facilities to develop decommissioning strategies. Utilize modeling techniques and Python programming to create simulations and predictive models. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion. Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and findings to stakeholders. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in nuclear decommissioning.
Profile Requirements
Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering or Chemical/Physical Engineering with a specialization in Nuclear. Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in nuclear decommissioning or related fields. Proficiency in Python programming and experience with modeling tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills in both French and English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. A BNEN certification is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
