Scope
Under general direction, responsible for material supply and movement within the Production and or Product Service area, including the decontamination of returned products for various disposition, while following standard operation procedures and safety practices in compliance with company policies.

 

Essential Functions

Follow all perinate company Standard Operation Procedures (SOP). Stocks cells from supermarkets Where applicable, follows the decontamination procedure when handling returned product.  Maintains supermarket including min/max quantities, reordering, 6S, shelf configurations including proper shelf height, space allocation, etc. Follow all company safety protocols and have a strong safety mindset. Includes wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) for work being performed. Ability to follow and review SOPs, Work Instructions, and/or drawings to determine required assembly finish on product, pack, and any special options to completion. Check and maintain accurate inventory of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners to complete production and or product service orders. Ability to operate and check power and hand tools for correct operation, and operating controls and safety stops on machines. Complete all documentation and production reporting following company guidelines. Keeps record of time spend and material used with established standards. Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations for production reporting.  Maintains a clean work environment aligned with company standards and helps promote a safe work environment. Ability to operate scan guns for production order processes and inventory and or processes for Product Service. Ability to work and communicate as part of a team and/or independently when needed. Works closely and communicates with Manufacturing and/or Product Service support functions to resolve production and or product service-related inventory issues.     Maintains and strives to meet delivery output aligned with efficiency standards. Perform related work and other duties, as required. Where applicable, follows Pennsylvania DOT requirements internal and external to the facility.  Safely perform tasks related to power industrial trucks.  Where applicable, train and utilize training with power industrial trucks appropriately. All other duties as assigned.


Typical Background Education:  

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Certifications/Licensing:

Powered Industrial Truck certification, or the ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck certification required.

Years and Type of Experience:

Previous material handling experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:

Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), e-mail and Internet a plus. Strong communication skills – written and verbal. Interpersonal skills to include customer-focused orientation with both internal and external customers.
