DED EQUIPMENT COORDINATOR
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and facilitate the maintenance, relocation, utilization, and assignment of dedicated assets allocated to the Meijer account at the direction of the Transportation Manager including but not limited to:
Yard Management/Lot Checks (identifying OOS, damaged equipment)
Schedule BPM(s).
Coordinate trades with Equipment Group.
Update permit books/registrations, order plates from Meijer and USX as needed.
Move tractors and trailers to or from shops, dealerships, stores, DCs and road test as needed.
Act as a liaison between Dedicated XRA and our 3rd Party maintenance vendors.
Coordinate with XRA on non-drivable units as needed from shops, dealerships, stores, and DC’s.
Weekly tracking for all Meijer dedicated equipment (trailers and tractors)
Enter “OOS” locks in the Meijer Switcher Management application to prevent customer from loading unfit equipment.
Inventory control of all parts needed for the consumable’s parts/fluids program.
Monitor onsite Fuel Island. Communicate current levels, deliveries, and resetting of fuel force tracking as requested.
Ensure win/win scenarios that result in both high driver and customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives.
Assist in new hire onboarding, orientation tours, scan badge creation.
Participate in onsite Safety Committee.
May include other duties as assigned by Management.
