Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare, apply, and process all US and CN exception (non-auto posted) lockbox transactions, EDI, miscellaneous cash, manual and bank adjustments including scanning and attaching back up.Secures and organizes deduction backup from customers via website, email or by phone.Maintains electronic storage files which contain various support documents or templates needed to process deductions.Accurately matches authorized deductions to planned promotions, issues customer credit for valid claims and submit repayment for unauthorized claims.Responsible for researching and resolving all type of deductions in accordance with established policy and authorization limits.Collaborates with Deductions and Cash Application Analyst for data analysis, reporting and KPI related tasks.Keeps a reconciliation mindset for balance resolution and drives for completenessEscalates issues and errors timely. Acts in the best interest of Winland Foods in all mattersCross-train to support OTC in all areas as volumes requiresKeeps manager informed of activities that may require attention.Supports projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar preferredMinimum of 1 year experience in a Deduction and Cash Application roleExperience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry preferredExperience with SAP and Vistex preferredDemonstrated analytical skillsAbility to think creatively and solve problems, using sound judgementExceptional organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic work environment, meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed resultsResults driven with a focus on high performance, and attention to detailExcellent communication skills (formal and informal) with business acumen and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, setting a tone of working in partnership and collaborationStrong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)Occasional travel to business meetings may be required
