The Undersea Technology Analysis Portfolio (UTAP), within the Sea, Land, & Air Analysis Group in SPA, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging undersea technologies and warfighting capabilities.  We support clients across the undersea and naval special warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements (OPNAV N97), acquisition (program offices for undersea technologies and naval special warfare), and science and technology (Office of Naval Research, DARPA)  Our enduring capabilities include:

Identifying capability gaps, developing requirements, and generating solutionsAssessing the operational utility and technical feasibility of new technologiesExecution of acquisition and technology development programs, including developing plans and roadmaps to mature, deliver, and sustain new technologiesAnalysis of vulnerabilities and threats to undersea platforms and systemsQuantitative analysis and modeling of undersea forces and their missions

SPA has a near term need for for a Deep Submergence System Program Analyst for upcoming support to the Program Executive Office (PEO) for Unmanned and Small Combatants (USC). PEO USC, through affiliated program offices, designs, procures, and builds the Navy’s small manned and unmanned surface and undersea systems, and delivers the capabilities needed to support a range of fleet operations in the at the best cost-efficient value. 

Responsibilities

This role will support the Naval Special Warfare program office, PMS 340. The Deep Submergence System Program Analyst reports full-time to a contractor site in Alexandria, VA, with occasional remote work available, based upon the needs of the client.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree 15 years of experience in program/project managementFamiliarity with Deep Submergence System - Scope of Certification or other Navy quality assurance programsSignificant experience with Naval Special Warfare programsSecret clearance
