Under minimal supervision, the Default & Special Servicing Team Lead assists the Default & Special Servicing Supervisor coordinate, delegate, prioritize and follow-up with the work or tasks related to accounts in stages of delinquency; for one ormoreofthe functions within default and special servicing.

Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Claims, FHA Claims, Real Estate Owned (REO), Property Valuations, Property Preservation, Charge Off, Default Attorney Referral, Default Processing, Collections Support, Affidavit Production, VendorRelationshipManagement,Litigation oversight or any other default-related function.

Assists, researches, resolves and responds to escalated operational, vendor, and customer service issues while providing guidance & leadership to unit personnel.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Ensures reporting standards are met and maintained. Interacts with managerial and supervisory staff to provide feedback and offers insights to process improvements and daily workflow. The Team Lead will ensure employees, equipment, andmaterialstomaximize productivity and ensure that production standards are met and maintained. Requires a general to advanced level of knowledge about default practices and regulations.

Provide daily coaching and feedback to staff through account reviews and side-by-sides. Helps management to monitor individual and team productivity and quality, while providing technical supervision of the assigned unit. Aids management innewhiretraining, cross training, and ensuring that employees have a full understanding of department and Bank procedures as well as individual job responsibilities, goals, and performance standards while previewing accounts for senior managementreviewandapproval, and quality control checks for accuracy of data and information. Be subject matter expert for team while effectively communicating the policies, practices, objectives, and core values of the organization to the team.

manages daily work at the account level as assigned.

manages daily, weekly, Bi-weekly, and monthly reporting as assigned.

-Develops and maintains good business relationships with internal and external vendors and customers. Responds to and assists team with investigating and responding to miscellaneous correspondence. Assists in managing aspects of vendor managementforunitas

Communicates feedback from the team to management While encouraging employee engagement through teamwork and the cross Training of employees within the unit as well as promoting teamwork and cooperation within the unit as well as other areasoftheoriginazation. identify individual and Group Training needs and work with management to Develop the best approach for improvement.

assist with the Development and implementation of unit policies and procedures in order tocontinue process , increase productivity, and ensure compliance.

Serve as back-up to the supervisor for meetings or as assigned in their absence.

Participate in internal or external departmental rotations for Development purposes.

perform other duties as assigned.

College Degree or equivalent experience.

-Minimum 4 years experience in default loan servicing within one or more of the following units: Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Collections, Real Estate Owned (REO), Loss Mitigation, Claims, Property Preservation, Charge Off,PropertyValuations,orCollectionsSupp

proven leadership skills, Initiative, a detail orientation, strong analytical skills, and decisive decision-making skills.

Ability to multi-task and be flexible.

Demonstrated Ability to work in a team environment, While presenting a Professional image and commanding the respect of team-mates, peers, and management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to Communicate with all levels of staff and external and internal business partners.

strong problem solving, project management, organizational skills, and detail orientated.

Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Demonstrated Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external contacts.

Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a high volume environment.

Familiarity with collection and lending practices and servicing requirements on mortgages.

Ability to Meet department standards with regard to job knowledge, quality, efficiency, Initiative, team work, customer service, and overall job performance.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal Office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.

Extended viewing of a CRT screen.

Ability to multi-task is essential.
