Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Minimum of two years’ experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate Degree in a manufacturing, industrial, mechanical technology, or science field from an accredited institution.Able to work in a self-directed or team environment and have good organization and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with blueprints.Good oral and written communication skills.Experience in Microsoft Office.

The Defects Coordinator is a first shift position within Plant 4, Thermatech Coatings Operation and will be responsible for: 

Focus on improving efficiency of engineering’s review of casting(s) with defects.Have daily interaction with engineering (product, process, quality engineer) and manufacturing resources.Involve some review and characterization of defects in castings.Assist in daily management of defective casting inventory as parts flow through the engineering review process.
