Overview We are seeking a Definitive Observation Unit CNA , also ref erred to DOU Certified Nursing Assistant, Step-Down Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Progressive Care C NA in our Definitive Observation Unit (DOU) . This role involves providing direct patient care to individuals who require closer monitoring than on a regular med-surg floor but are not critical enough for the ICU in our DOU . You must have:  1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required. 2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current. 3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology. 4. Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
