Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Preparation of foods for retail area. This position requires customer contact and excellent customer service skills. Attractively displays food items, assist with development of menu items, daily specials, and creative events to attract business. **What you will do** + Obtains, inventories, displays and replenishes hot and cold foods as needed. + Meets standards for food preparation, quality, sanitation and efficiency as established by State and local Health Department, set department standards or otherwise by law. + Operates cash terminal. Prints appropriate reports and reconciles the audit to the cash drawer total. Replenishes coins or currency for deli operation as necessary. + Accurate cash handling and reconciliation of change due to customers. + Delivers all products according to time schedule set for the specific item. + Makes recommendations to Department Manager for all menus. + Completes daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards. + Responsible for delivering excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate scripts developed for APOP Dietary services. + Assures cleanliness of workstation and seating area, restock items utilizing “First In, First Out” (FIFO) and replenishment standards. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
