Position Profile: Responsible for the efficient and quality pick-up, relocation, and delivery of office equipment in a safe manner. This role involves installation and networking of gear as needed, as well as providing basic training on delivered devices. Professionalism and quality of service directly impact future customer purchase decisions. Compliance with all federal DOT requirements is mandatory.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely deliver equipment to the correct location.Maintain log books in accordance with DOT regulations (Electronic or manual).Conduct pre and post trip reviews to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness, compliant with all DOT and state laws.Perform pick-up of products during delivery to minimize costs.Conduct basic connected installations, including setting up IP addresses, downloading print drivers, removing hard drives, backing up and uploading customer's address books, and providing basic training on standalone and network devices.Participate in Safety Programs.Pre-call customers when applicable.Achieve expected productivity levels.Demonstrate strong technical and customer relation skills.Identify customer needs and determine appropriate actions, referring calls to the appropriate party as necessary.Provide constructive feedback to the service and process team regarding networking and installation initiatives.Maintain a professional appearance in the driver uniform.Contact Dispatch and/or service department if a technician is needed.Ensure equipment configuration matches the Bill of Lading, traveler, or other documentation.Properly load and secure equipment in the vehicle.Capture electronic customer signatures upon completion of transactions.Ensure all paperwork is signed and properly processed.Load and off-load trucks as required.Train new Delivery Drivers on new products and proper loading techniques.Follow accident/incident reporting guidelines and procedures.Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation when required.Reconcile inventory at the end of the day based on route completion and report discrepancies.Meet productivity and quality standards as outlined by the manager.Oversee an inventory value of up to $1,000,000.May require overnight stays.Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, stair climbers, and pallet jacks.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications):

Safe driving record and history.Online technical training focused on networking and installation.On-the-job training with field technicians.Eligibility to drive a commercial vehicle according to FMCSR regulations.Valid driver's license as per company policy.Minimum two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.Pass a road test.Valid and current medical card.Be at least 20 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent.Valid commercial driver's license if required by state.Ability to read maps and electronic GPS.Ability to handle oversized and overweight equipment.Strong customer presentation and communication skills.Familiarity with smart phones/tablets and basic computer skills.Adequate technical skills for installing/networking equipment.Methodical approach to problem-solving.Ability to work independently.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands:

Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.Lifting equipment weighing up to 100 pounds and moving equipment up to 1000 pounds.Work in diverse environments including office, warehouse, and vehicle settings.Frequent exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.Ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material and instructions.Ability to work independently.
