What you will do

Daily interaction with operations, planning, program management & suppliers.Create daily status reports and communicate the results with our customers, prime aerospace manufacturers, throughout the day.Communicate potential shipping delays including identifying root cause with suppliers on delays and establish recovery plans to bring shipments back on line through e-mail and phone communications.Work with operations to understand their build plans and requirements via SAP and relate this to OTDWork with program office on reporting status to internal customers.

Work Experience

How You Will Get Here:

3 years operational support experience in a procurement/purchasing environment. Strong MS Office skills including intermediate level in MS Excel SAP experience strongly preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to work & interact at all levels of an organization. Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.Typical 40 hours weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours / General shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pmAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
