Your role and responsibilities

Are you passionate about supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and project execution? We are looking for a Delivery Capability Manager to play a key role in ensuring the readiness of new marine propulsion products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with R&D and diverse stakeholders, securing material availability, optimizing supply chain processes, and driving successful project execution.This position is located in Helsinki, Finland.You will be mainly accountable for:• Managing R&D projects as a supply chain project manager.• Securing the availability of the materials during the project phase for R&D needs and customer delivery needs.• Building the delivery capability and securing the readiness of the supply chain for new marine propulsion products.• Securing the ramp up of new marine propulsion products’ production in collaboration with operations.• Acting as a single point of contact between the project and the supply chain organizations.• Assessing and evaluating potential new supplier candidates in collaboration with sourcing, quality and R&D.

Qualifications for the role

M.Sc in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant area. 2-5 years’ experience of leading projects as a project manager in customer delivery or R&D pro-jects. Strong understanding of the supply chain functions, previous working in strategic sourcing of operational purchasing is seen as an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead multicultural project team and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Strong negotiations skills for working effectively with suppliers. A proactive mindset with sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in English language. Preferred but not required: Previous experience from negotiating agreements and prices with suppliers. Auditing experience.
