Job Posting Description

As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders.  You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service.  You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products!  One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night. Work shift and hours:

Full-time, hourly, non-exemptMonday - Friday6:00am - 3:00pmPredictable work schedule to plan your life around: no weekends or nights for most roles.Paid time-off, including 3+ weeks of vacation, sick time, and volunteer time.

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $23.00 per hour depending on experience.

Additional Information:

Steel toed boots required.CDL not required, but must pass DOT medical exam.

Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectationsDeliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer serviceLoad and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacksInspect vehicle and suppliesSafely operate vehicle at all timesMaintain proper truck logsWork a local route – no overnights or weekends awayNever text and drive

What you bring to the table:

Customer service skillsAbility to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment; must pass pre-employment physical testingSafely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE1+ years experience required driving a truck or trailer over 33,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) or trucks equipped with a boom or forklift with self-unloading capabilitiesMust have a valid driver's license issued by his/her state of residence appropriate for type of vehicleMust be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification
