Job Summary
The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting product as required by pre-determined schedules. This role works a dayshift (7am – 330pm) Monday thru Friday. Work hours are subject to change to meet business needs.

Facility ExpectationFollow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.Ensure product quality expectations are met.Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required.Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.Work with other Operations colleagues to effectively communicate production issues.Participate in morning toolbox, shift exchange/review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance.Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues.Required to work overtime as specified by management.Attend training classes in-plant or at other locations as assigned.Work Duties and Required SkillsAvailable to work on a pre-determine shift using semi-truck/trailer to transport and deliver cargoDriver will plan trips based on factors such as: breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic and construction, and city and rural driving conditions as well as managing unforeseen circumstancesSafely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructionsMake sure that the load is accurate with product and amountClean, inspect, and service truck before and after deliveriesCompleting truck log documentation on computer according to state and federal regulationsFollow all government, company, and customer policies and regulations, including but not limited to, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOLOther responsibilities as assigned by managementMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalentMust be 24 years of age or olderHave two years verifiable over-the-road experience or local tractor trailer experience within the last seven yearsHold a valid Class A Commercial License (Class A CDL) with the proper endorsementsNo more than one chargeable accident within the last three yearsNo more than one moving violation ticket in the last three yearsNo convictions of D.U.I., D.U.S., or open container in the last 7 yearsNo positive controlled substance/alcohol tests from prior employer Ability to act in a professional manner and adhere by ADM’s Code of ConductMust be able to lift up to 55 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when requiredAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditionsAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicGood attitude and works well in team atmosphere.Handles other duties as required.Maintain excellent attendance.ADM requires the successful completion of a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
