What You Will Do:

Working under the general direction of the Senior Vice President of Operations and/or the Account Executive (AE), the Delivery Executive, Hospital Patient Financial Services (PFS) Operations, serves as the primary liaison between the Hospital PFS Operations Delivery teams and his/her assigned Client for all PFS related aspects of the Revenue Cycle. This position will be responsible for the proactive oversight of the Revenue Cycle process and maintain a successful client relationship and client strategies. In addition, this position will develop a deep understanding of the Client’s Revenue Cycle to ensure KPI’s and quality measures are met at both their assigned location and at Service Center(s). This position will also supervise assigned Revenue Cycle Leaders at Service Center(s) and/or Client Site. The Delivery Executive, Hospital PFS Operations will monitor compliance with State and Federal laws and guidelines. This position will proactively identify opportunities for revenue cycle improvement initiatives and partner with the AE and Client leadership to develop and execute these plans. The Delivery Executive, Hospital PFS Operations will possess both technical and business skills to recommend, engage and manage their client’s strategic initiatives. The Delivery Executive, Hospital PFS Operations will serve as the assigned client relationship executive and work with the both the US and India based delivery teams to ensure optimal results. 

Strategy and Business Development:

Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective client delivery strategies, programs and processes.

Help maintain the key strategic client and partner relationships including partnering and strategically guiding the actual delivery of the BPO and Extended Business Office solutions to the client which is an Operations function.

Create and implement standard playbooks for all clients consistent with standard operational procedures and SOP’s allowing for consistent performance of all revenue cycle metrics and KPI’s.

Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement plans for the infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the Company in the Hospital Revenue Cycle Operations arena

Oversight of Division Business Planning and creation of Strategic Initiatives for the Company.

Take on special projects and assignments where necessary.

Leadership and Continuous Improvement:

Promotes a service-oriented culture within the organization and assures satisfaction with the quality and amount of support provided for departmental functions, initiatives and projects.

Assesses and responds to current and future internal and external healthcare trends in order to establish and ensure the necessary direction for revenue cycle activities.

Continually seeks ways and means for improving the delivery and support of Hospital PFS Operations activities and programs.

Assures satisfaction among customer groups with the quality and amount of support provided by monitoring and responding appropriately to outcomes and feedback.

Understands the job functions of all Hospital Revenue Cycle personnel, is aware of process flow across departments, and involves them, as appropriate, when recommended actions may impact their work functions. 

Operations: 

Develops and implements policies and procedures related to all aspects of the PFS Revenue Cycle Operations

Monitors and researches regulatory changes and proposes actions to respond to changing legislation/regulations.

Evaluates and directs efforts of Consultants and Analysts to improve clients’ Revenue Cycle initiatives.

Assists in on-site operational reviews of various Revenue Cycle processes at clients’ sites and publishes recommended action plans/proposals in consultation with client CFO.

Develops and utilizes monitoring and reporting techniques and systems.

Client Responsibility:

The Delivery Executive may represent the firm with clients, investors, and business partners. Provide access to contacts in the Health Care Market, help create and manage Advisory / User’s committees.

Responsible for development of Performance Indicators and communication with client regarding Performance Indicators.

Responsible for a continual assessment of client needs and potential solutions available through Guidehouse.

Responsible for internal quality and performance monitoring to ensure that client expectations are being achieved.

Responsible for the financial performance of the portfolio and a component of the overall financial performance of the engagement.


What You Will Need:

Requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree.)

Relevant experience coming from a healthcare provider, central business office environment or revenue cycle outsourcing company.

Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, payer contracts and regulation affecting reimbursement for healthcare services


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Prior experience in developing standard operating procedures and training plan execution

Accomplished in client relationships and quality service delivery

6-8 years of Hospital Revenue Cycle Management experience/background

Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization.

Master’s Degree preferred

Has held a leadership role (preferably Director) in Revenue Cycle Management or Patient Financial Services

Experience leading, engaging global workforce resources

Strong Physician and Hospital RCM background with a focus on driving improvements to yield, cash, days, and aging

Experience with either major or minor RCM modules within the common EHR’s of Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.

Strategic and conceptual thinker and planner

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including power point presentation skills at the corporate level, client “C” suite or board level.

Strong problem solving, marketing analysis and evaluation skills

Innovative, motivated & able to lead by exampleAbility to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision required

Proficient in use of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

Ability to travel

The annual salary range for this position is $120,500.00-$180,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
