Principal responsibilities

As Head of Equities Risk PL IT China, this role will carry out some or all of the following activities:

Establish and lead a high performance team of highly-skilled engineers that will share best practice and engineering excellence across the organization.Build and maintain a strong partnership with our business including our product owners to support our business growth by aligning our technical delivery road map with business roadmap.Be part of the global team and collaborate closely with teams in different regions to support our global business and project delivery.Developing and uplifting team overall engineering capability to support end to end delivery.Motivating the delivery team and promoting continuous improvement culture by creating a safe environment where team members feel valued, respected, and part of the organization's success.Financial control and PL management to meet targets.Identifying and managing risks associated with project delivery, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. Developing and implementing performance metrics and regular reporting mechanisms to track team performance and deliverables. Talent management and succession planning.Managing third party vendors and vendor service providers.
