Principal responsibilities

Responsible for defining and driving the Data technology strategy across Insurance globallyWorking closely with the business establish a set of roadmaps for build out and deployment of Data technologiesResponsible for leading a team of Data engineers, architects and project managers that develop and manage the Insurance data technology estateAccountable for establishing an effective Data engineering practice that embeds best practice / ways of workingResponsible for implementing new tools, best practices in, ways of working in line with group standards to support the Data and Analytics agendaAccountable for adherence to standards and controls that are relevant to Data technology Accountable for career development, talent management and succession decisions across Data technology teamsResponsible for upskilling the Data technology organisation
