Principal responsibilities
Governance and Committee Memberships (membership of ExCos, Risk Management Meeting)
Ensure effective governance and adherence to project management best-practices, policies and proceduresProvide regular project updates and progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholder Participate in project audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulationsOwn the OKR, KPI and SLA management framework, maintaining service management oversight pertaining to both operational and control performance across all GDT Wholesale CTB RTB services end-to-end Work with technology and transformation teams to define the overall technology strategy for GDT Wholesale to reduce legacy technologies and drive a culture of innovation by developing cutting-edge automation, capability, and business solutions leveraging next-gen technologies, AI, and analytics.Manage multiple senior stakeholders with varied and sometimes conflicting agendas, effectively navigating complex situations and driving alignment.Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders
End to end accountability for multiple technical deliveries or services across the GDT Wholesale Lending business, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the strategic vision. Manage the delivery of multiple Data Analytics initiatives on the global platform with the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan and portfolio governance.Appoint and manage engineers to deliver business use cases on a global scale - Ensure projects are mobilised for success, and optimise resource allocation, such that they are fulfilling the highest priority items.Manage communications with key business stakeholders, and reporting progress in line with the PPM/ IT Portfolio Delivery Lead Work with the Wholesale Data Value Stream Leads to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.Plan and design the programme, and proactively monitor progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action where required.Work with the product owners DevOps teams to ensure that the lead-time to deploy change is continuously improving, by adopting high levels of automation across testing and production deployments .Assist business stakeholders with the decomposition of complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories that can be delivered by our technology teams via their respective backlogs.Proactively plan and execute periodic IT Service Management activities such as Service Resilience Planning testing, Capacity Planning etcEnsure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team, driving a culture of continuous improvement.Leadership Teamwork
Strong track record in managing medium to large scale team.Good understanding on software development practice and Agile/DevOps. Have ability to guide engineers, mature ways of working and promote agile culture.Good track record in stakeholder management and ability to navigate through complex organization structure. Good track record in managing vendors and 3rd party technology partnership.Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including senior executive management.Demonstrate values-based leadership - work closely with all teams (both virtually and in person), creating a strong culture of transparency, collaboration and trust.Excellent understanding and proven experience of Programme and Project Management methodologies, including Waterfall and AgileAbility to direct and influence people in a matrix-orientated environment and establish working partnerships at a junior and senior organizational level.Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with Senior Executives across the businessOutstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skillsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.Drive and encourage the building of diverse teams evidenced by actions taken to support inclusive recruitment, performance management, reward and career development/promotions practices across individuals from diverse backgrounds.
