**Job Title: Delivery Helper** **Job Description** Assist the delivery team by loading and unloading construction materials for trucks going out to project sites. Ride with a CDL driver to jobsites to drop materials at the construction site. Materials include drywall, metal framing, and ceiling tile for commercial and residential projects. Unload trucks by hand onto a cart and wheel it into buildings as materials can't be stored outside. This is a very physical job, but equipment like boom trucks, lifts, pully carts, and dollies are used to make it easier. Expect around 3-10 different deliveries per day, depending on the workload. When carrying drywall, it is lifted with 2 people to avoid injuries. Delivering to residential and commercial jobsites. 40% residential, 60% commercial. Projects include schools, hospitals, apartment complexes, and university student housing. Team environment with a laid-back culture, often participating in team events and happy hours. Stressful during the busy season with strict timelines. Team size of 10 people working in groups of 1-3. Dress code is jeans and t-shirt, no cut-offs or holes. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4 PM, with varying finish times depending on workload and weather.
