Function: Digital & Technology
Location: Edinburgh (South Gyle then City Centre from May 2025)
Salary: £58,000 - £72,000 base depending on experience + performance bonus + Flexible benefits (15% of base salary can be taken as cash, benefits, or a mix of both plus full benefits listed below.

About the Role
As the Delivery Lead for the Digital Product Management team, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of high-quality application solutions that support our Commercial functions, aligned with our digital strategy and business objectives. You’ll ensure delivery meets scope, budget, quality, and schedule expectations, while leading and developing a team of Delivery Managers, Product Analysts, and managing 3rd party developers.

Here are some of the key responsibilities of the role:

Collaborate with the Technology Lead to shape and deliver the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital products. Engage with software and consulting partners to define resource models and develop strong value propositions. Align business strategies and product deliverables by working closely with Technology, Digital Product Management, Innovation, and Data teams. Identify opportunities to leverage technology for competitive advantage, particularly in FMCG/Retail contexts. Oversee product portfolio impacts to ensure high-quality solutions meet business requirements. Build and maintain a motivated, skilled team with clear development plans and biannual career updates. Manage resource allocation across the product lifecycle, balancing capability needs and staff development, including 3rd party resources. Define and implement clear operating models for ongoing application management. Monitor and measure portfolio success using accurate data to ensure product value and delivery success. Manage risks and issues, escalating and addressing them as needed, within defined processes. Develop and oversee realistic project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.


Who we’re looking for
This fixed term contract opportunity is ideal for someone with strong Business Process knowledge and project management experience. You should have a solid understanding of digital technologies, including all aspects of digital product life cycle, and be well versed in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

If you have;

Proven leadership of medium to large multidisciplinary teams, with strong motivational, coaching, and mentoring skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities to align stakeholders and achieve outcomes. Financial expertise in budgeting, adjustments, and benefit realisation. Problem-solving skills focused on teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and third-party delivery oversight. Collaborative stakeholder management across Business and IT.

Our ways of working 
This role is office based, we currently operate a hybrid working framework which allows us to capture the benefits of both working in the office and at home.  For full-time roles, we work a minimum of 3 days in the office – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with Monday and Friday being our work-from-home days.

In May we’ll be moving to a fantastic new office at 6 St Andrew Square – right in the heart of the city centre.

The office is in a great location with excellent public transport links so it’s really easy to get to whether you’re travelling by train, bus or tram!

With a brilliant selection of restaurants, bars, shops and our very own Star Pubs on our doorstep, you’ll be spoilt for choice for extracurricular activities.  And if you fancy catch up after hours with your colleagues, our in-house  bar with fantastic views of Edinburgh Castle might just be the spot for you!
