Job Description Job Purpose The main purpose of the role is to support the settlement and delivery processes and procedures of ICE Clear Europe for Energy, Financial and Soft Commodity products, which includes but is not limited to Physical Oil, Natural Gas, Power, Emissions, Equities, Bonds, Cocoa, Coffee, Sugar and Wheat. Support will also be given to the day to day clearing operational activities, which includes the coverage of shift patterns between 09:00 and 19:30 London time. The jobholder will support the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of ICE Clear Europe’s Operations department, providing the highest level of customer service to Clearing Members and their clients. ICE is an organisation where the culture is hands-on and collaborative. The jobholder will be expected to proactively support other areas of the Clearing House, primarily in the Operations space, in providing the best possible service to Clearing Members. The jobholder will ensure that the day-to-day support tasks are performed efficiently and in a timely manner, and in time, contribute to business initiatives and projects requiring the department’s input. Responsibilities Learn and perform all duties in relation to settlement and delivery of ICE products, including all expiry events, subsequent physical delivery processes and Option expiry management; Monitor the effectiveness of the expiration and delivery processes, to ensure timely and accurate publication of information to Clearing Members; Deal with Clearing Member/customer queries relating to ICE delivery processes; Provide support for the processing of all day to day clearing operational activities; Knowledge and Experience Essential Experience within the financial industry; An understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives clearing services, ideally at a Clearing Member; A basic understanding of clearing and a Clearing House; Ability to remain calm under pressure and retain a positive attitude when dealing with customers; Strong customer focus, and experience of handling customer queries; A responsible, self-sufficient, proactive and collaborative attitude; Strong accuracy, organisational skills and attention to detail is vital; Desirable Exposure to and general understanding of ETD settlements and deliveries from a Clearing Member perspective; Corporate Action knowledge and processing experience; Experience of ICE’s Clearing Technology Platforms Knowledge of ICE derivative products and their specifications; Strong/intermediate Excel skills; Understanding of margining processes; Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
