Summary:
NCR Voyix Retail Solutions provides Point-of-Sale solutions and services to our Retail customers. The Professional Services Retail Solutions Team is looking for an experienced Delivery Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services Implementation team.
In this mission critical opportunity, you will be a member of the PS Technical team, responsible for enablement and implementation of Large-Scale Distributed systems Deployment Solution for NCR Voyix customers.
Key areas of responsibility:
+ Deploy and Maintain NCR Voyix POS Solution in variety of NCR Voyix Customers Test Labs
+ Manage Physical and Virtual NCR labs, deploy NCR Voyix software utilizing best practices of automated CI / CD
+ Provide guidance to NCR Voyix Customer Technical Specialists on Deployment, Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of NCR Voyix Software
+ Utilize deployment tools to schedule and execute software deployment
+ Troubleshoot and Analyze problems reported from customer or internal NCR Voyix Lab
+ Document procedure and report execution results
+ Authoring PowerShell scripts to support Deployment Automation and Monitoring of Deployment Process
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline and / or equivalent work experience
+ Excellent Communication and Customer Facing Skills
+ Solid practical knowledge of Windows OS
+ Working experience with Databases, specifically MS SQL, including an ability to write SQL queries
+ Hand-on experience with Microsoft IIS
+ Hand on experience with CI/CD process and tools
+ Understanding of Windows OS imaging processes
+ Solid proven experience with PowerShell
+ Familiarity experience with at least one of the following frameworks – Microsoft SCCM, Ansible or equivalent
+ Ability to process and support deployment in different time zones
+ Understanding and experience with network and application security
+ Solid knowledge of NCR Voyix Cloud API, Retail Software Application and Services – significant advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Hand-on experience with Linux OS
+ Hands on experience with cloud technologies, AWS, Azure, GCP. Containerization with Kubernetes is a bonus
