Job Description

We are looking for a Summer/Fall Demand Analyst Co-Op to join the team in Irvine, CA for a 6 month period starting in June, 2025!

The Co-Op will be part of the Demand Management team (DM) and work closely with the Sales, Business Unit, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. The DM team is responsible for sales and operations planning and contributes to special projects and strategic business initiatives. The candidate will support activities that contribute to making forward-looking decisions with the demand plan and communicate those decisions to stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Marketing, and our external customers.

Responsibilities Include

Business and data analysis, deriving valuable and actionable insights, documenting and communicating findings with key stakeholders, validating data, and driving escalations in case of data discrepancies. The Co-Op candidate is entrusted to work with the DM analysts and collaborate in DM activities, identify and help solve discrepancies between supply and demand, use analytics skills to draw conclusions, participate in projects, reporting, dashboards, supply shipment allocations and business initiatives.

Qualifications Enrolled in a BS, MS, or MBA program and majoring in Supply Chain, Computer/Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related programs over the duration of the Co-Op Able to commit to the 2025 Summer/Fall Co-Op Program, which goes from June through December 2025 Preferred Skills Advanced skills in Excel (VBA a plus), PowerPoint, and Word Data visualization (Power BI) and dashboard creation experience is desirable Knowledge of business forecasting and planning processes is desirable Knowledge of statistics including regression and time series modeling is desirable Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills Excellent communication (both written and verbal), organization, and documentation skills Team-oriented attitude, accountability, and ownership Ability to work with cross-functional teams and present actions and information to stakeholders Team player with good interpersonal skills and able to work efficiently with varied groups

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
