Demand Forecasting Manager

The demand plans will ensure that there is the appropriate level of inventory available in the corresponding MMWs/LSPs and LOCs. Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK | GSK In this role you will Manage the demand planning and volume forecasting process for the full pharma portfolio of a Tier 1 market to improve service levels, reduce working capital and minimize stock write-offs and lead monthly cross-functional Pre-Demand Review Meetings to make the necessary adjustments based on the market intelligence supplied by Commercial, Supply Chain and/or Finance teams. Ensure a comprehensive total volume forecast through various methods, inputs and data, including, e.g., scenario planning, assessment of risks and opportunities, new product introduction, AI and statistical baseline planning, assessment of competitor activity and tender demand. Have functional alignment with the Regional Demand Forecasting Director and support the demand forecasting evolvement and vision by providing leadership for regional improvement projects and activities, securing as a result improved product availability and lower working capital. Support the Market Supply Chain Lead and the Demand Forecasting Director by preparing the necessary inputs for the Market and Regional Therapy DRM’s (ViiV, Oncology, Gen Meds, Specialty Care) and acting up as a single point of contact for a Therapy area ensuring excellence across the team and effective reviews with Regional Commercial. Be responsible within the assigned market for the monitoring, visualizing and sharing of demand forecasting KPIs and to drive improvements in accuracy, bias, working capital and supply service levels based on the analytics provided by yourself. Contribute to strategic global and regional projects that will use demand forecasting as a lever to unlock further benefits in GSK's supply chain including Inventory Reduction, write-off reduction, OTIF improvement, etc. Why you? Basic Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: University graduate or relevant practical experience. Supply Chain Professional Qualification. Experience on multiple business cycle in Commercial Sales / Marketing / Demand Forecasting / Finance operations, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment. Specialist knowledge of Demand Forecasting, preferably managing strategic therapies/brands/market. Promotes a ‘one number’ mindset to drive business decision-making and forecast transparency / functional accountability. Strong analytical skills and experience in working with and visualizing data Preferred Qualifications & Skills: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, and preferably fluency in one or more additional European languages. Strong planning ability & able to work on own initiative. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead cross functional teams. Good knowledge of supply chain forecasting software systems and processes, of SAP APO and statistical forecasting. Proactively seeks opportunities to increase value by raising standards & championing best practices. Ability to mentor and support the development of less experienced members (Regional Demand Forecasting Managers (Grade 7) and new joiners). Strong networking, planning and organisational skills with a demonstrated capability to manage complex projects with short timelines.
