Position Summary

The incumbent is accountable for ensuring the company achieves its revenue targets, forecast accuracy target, optimal inventory levels, and customer service objectives. This role is responsible for managing the demand for product categories for the SEA+ region. The role requires building strong cross-functional relationships with teams in Commercial, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Regulatory, and Finance to ensure an accurate forecast is developed. The forecast should lead to optimal inventory levels at the right time, helping to maintain a balanced cash flow for the company.

Principal Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

Demand Planning:

Create and sustain a detailed and effective demand plan using historical data, market trends, and insights from the sales and marketing team. Drive forecast accuracy for SEA+ together with commercial to meet company revenue target. Ensure that any adjustments to the demand plan are effectively aligned with the supply chain through the Integrated Business Planning Process. Lead and oversee the monthly Demand Review Meeting with SEA+ countries, ensuring a clear understanding of the demand changes month on month. Incorporates market intelligence and forecast data collected from Local Country Sales, Marketing to ensure the achievement of customer target service levels and forecast accuracy. Lead and present during the demand segment of Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Validate the 4PL Go-direct purchase and demand forecast roll-up plans submitted by country planners, ensuring a clear understanding of the root causes of financial gaps to the plan and significant changes in demand forecasts. Act as the main point of contact for the Supply Chain team on NPI (New Product Introductions), product rationalization, development, and discontinuation, working closely with regional APAC Business Unit partners to ensure PIPO are completed and launch dates are met. IPN and Master Data Management for Demand Planning. Ensure optimal inventory levels by monitoring and addressing underconsumption. Serve as a single point of contact for regional planning team on SEA+ Demand consensus review. Provide regular reports and insights to management, emphasizing key trends, risks, and opportunities. Facilitate discussions on safety stocks and planning strategy with the commercial team. Set up new SKUs within the SEA+ region Other ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned. Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor degree or above in Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or equivalent. APAC regional experience in an international multi-culture environment is a MUST. Pharma, Med Device or FMCG background preferred. At least 6-8 years of related experience specifically in Demand and Supply Planning, CPIM preferred. Good knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP – S4 Hana, APS (o9 Solutions), skilled at MS Excel & Power BI. Strong expertise in statistical forecasting and the ability to effectively apply it. Outstanding project and process management skills. The candidate must exhibit professionalism and confidence, exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, strong analytical abilities and a persistent approach to problem-solving. Must be flexible and adaptable in navigating a complex and evolving corporate environment. Able to work efficiently within established deadlines. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are essential. Able to communicate tactfully and effectively in both verbally and writing. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to promote collaboration across diverse teams. Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting methodologies and tools. Flexible and adaptable. Able to work on own initiative and as a team player. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, cable of balancing short-term needs with long term objectives.
