Demand Planner

We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team in Chicago!

\n

Reporting to the Manager of Demand Planning, you will work with partners to develop consensus forecast and translate it into a detailed 24-month operational forecast. You will focus on understanding volume drivers to improve forecast accuracy and highlight risk to support our action plans to ensure plan delivery. You will have experience with analytics and ability to convert analytic results into value-added actions.

What you'll do:

\nLead monthly S&OP forecast consensus process by working with partners in sales, brand, supply chain, and finance to obtain forecast inputsWork with production planning and deployment to translate the consensus forecasts into an operational forecast for the entire networkEnsure successful customer promotion execution through planning and applying customer event inputsEngagement in forecasting of new item launches from ideation to productionAid in the communication flow of changes to forecast and communicate information to all partnersReport on forecast accuracy and lead the refinement and improvement of forecasting process, tools, and systems to improve resultsSupport annual planning process for designated brandsPresent findings that drive understanding, alignment, and informed decision-making\n

What you'll bring:

\nBachelor's degree2+ years of relatable work experienceA basic understanding of supply chain processes and the downstream effects demand planningExperience refining and maintaining advanced consumption/shipment machine learning or statistical modelsAnalytical skills and some statistical knowledgeExperience leading projectsExperience with Microsoft applications - Excel (Advanced formulas and pivot tables)\n
