**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Demand Planner** to join our team specializing in **Sales Forecast process** for our Cummins Emission Solutions facility in **Columbus, IN.** **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + **Coordinate Demand Plans** : By creating and maintaining demand plans for Integrated Business Planning, you’ll ensure that each business unit has accurate and actionable forecasts. + **Develop Long-Term Forecasts** : Leading the development of rolling 36-month and 5-year demand forecasts will support strategic and aggregate planning processes, aligning with the company’s long-term goals. + **Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration** : Liaising with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams will ensure a cohesive and efficient demand planning process, improving overall business performance. + **Maintain Demand Plan Integrity** : Ensuring the stability of the demand plan and taking prompt corrective actions will help in maintaining reliable and accurate forecasts. + **Drive Continuous Improvement** : Leading projects that align with the Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence will enhance processes and leverage common tools and systems for better efficiency. + **Support Corporate Initiatives** : Leading global business unit demand planning processes and supporting corporate demand management initiatives will ensure global alignment and consistency. + **Manage Sales Projections** : Consolidating sales projections for volumes and financial implications will support both monthly demand planning and strategic planning processes, ensuring accurate and actionable insights. + **Develop and Mentor Staff** : Managing, coaching, and developing staff will build a strong, capable team, ready to meet performance targets and support the organization’s goals. Green Belt certification preferred.
