As a Demand Planner, you will report to the Head of Customer Supply Chain and collaborate with two other demand planners. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring demand forecast accuracy, effective supply chain communication, and comprehensive reporting. The analytical part will be complemented by interactions with the commercial team, making this a dynamic role with a variety of tasks and activities.
This is a full-time and temporary role for a cover maternity leave for one year, starting from mid-May.
Key responsibilities- Create a consensus forecast to be used as part of the Kerry S&OP process.
- Manage the monthly cadence for the demand planning process.
- Generate and share reports required to provide insights and drive the demand planning process in Kerry.
- Champion demand planning ways of working - communicate with customers and sales teams, to drive improvements to the process.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure outputs of demand plan are taken into consideration.
- Support the enablement of development projects through to launch, and identify product delists, to minimise material risk and service failures.
- Provide support and suggest solutions where business targets are not being realised.
- Attend and contribute to Supply Chain Meetings as required.
- Training of supply chain teams on demand planning best practices, use of forecasting accuracy / error measures to improve forecasting effectiveness.
