Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, the successful individual will have the skills and knowledge to achieve their forecast accuracy targets and support a 98%+ monthly customer fill rate.
**_The How_**
+ Coordinate Demand Planning team efforts with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to develop SKU forecasts by Channel.
+ Manage the communication and coordination of forecasts as it relates to marketing/sales promotions, new product, discontinued product, and availability concerns.
+ Manage the Demand Planning interaction and communication with Supply Planning function to ensure efficient planning processes.
+ Facilitate the cross-functional communication of liveload information and sales projections.
+ Utilize forecast bias trend analysis along with customer POS/WOS information (where available) to drive forecast accuracy improvements.
+ Develop and maintain the SKU level forecast using JDA Demand Planning software.
**_What we need_** _:_
+ University or college diploma in operations management, business or equivalent.
+ 1 to 3 years Supply Chain or Forecasting experience with documented success.
+ Above average written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Highly self-motivated and a team player
+ Dependable, self-motivated and results oriented.
+ Knowledge of Stanley Black & Decker distribution channels/customers desirable
+ Organized, reliable, flexible and results oriented
+ Strong computer skills (SAP, Excel, JDA Demand Planning)
