This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.

Job Purpose
Manage and ensure the purchasing of materials, services, and/or equipment for the assigned purchasing portfolio, within the set procurement policies and guidelines, to ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply at optimum cost within specifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Understanding demand into the finishing center from the customer base Orchestrating communication with the service teams for order fulfillment/timing Coordinating and scheduling production activities Adjusting schedules to meet changes in demand Reviewing forecasts to determine gaps in planned production Collaborating with purchasing, inventory, shipping and production teams Analyzing stocking levels to support anticipated customer demands Proposing solutions to improve forecast demand accuracy Supporting management with areas of risk that need assessed and providing potential mitigation Working with demand planning teams and SIOP teams provide feedback for variances to plan QualificationsMinimum
2-3+ years experience in a similar position At minimum High School Diploma, preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in procurement or a related field Knowledge of software programs, including MS Office, etc.

Foreign language is a plus, English a must A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills. Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment. Knowledge of MRP and ERP 2-4 year college degree or higher in business or related field General Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
