Your role and responsibilitiesThe Local Demand Planner is responsible for developing and managing demand forecasts in their assigned region. This role is critical to ensuring product availability and supporting business objectives through accurate and efficient planning strategies. The Local Demand Planner works closely with the Global Demand Planning Manager and other regional planners and liaises closely with the sales teams and key customers,•\tCollaboration with sales: regular dialogue with sales teams to obtain information on customer needs , market conditions, and sales forecasts and adjust demand planning accordingly.Work closely with the sales, marketing, finance and supply chain teams to ensure that demand forecasts are aligned with business strategies•\tCustomer collaboration: Direct interaction with key customers to gather demand forecasts, recognise changes in customer demand and improve customer satisfaction through proactive planning.•\tReview of customer sales forecasts: Clarify and review customer sales forecasts to assess their plausibility and integrate them into your own demand planning.•\tData analysis: collecting and analyzing sales data, inventory levels and other relevant metrics to support demand forecasts and identify trends.•\tFeedback loops: Setting up feedback loops with sales and customers to continuously improve the accuracy of forecasts and respond flexibly to customer requirements.•\tReporting: Creating detailed reports and dashboards for the Global Demand Planning Manager and other stakeholders to monitor the performance and accuracy of forecasts.•\tPresentation: Preparation and presentation of analysis results and recommendations for action in meetings with management and other departments.•\tSoftware and tools: Use of planning tools: Effective use of specialized planning tools and software to support forecasting and planning processes. (e.g. SAP IBP, Sales Force, SC Control Tower, …)•\tTraining and support: Training team members and other users in the use of these tools and providing technical support.•\tOptimization of systems: Continuous improvement and adaptation of the systems and processes used to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications for the role\tA bachelor’s degree or above, specialized in Mechatronics or Automation related is preferred\tMore than 5 years related working experiences in manufacturing industry\tSAP knowledge on SD and MM modules and good Excel skills.\tProactive and customer oriented, quick learner, attention to details and commitment to Excellence\tGood communication skills, logical thinking, Teamwork spirit\tFluency in oral and written English
