Position Summary:
As a Demand planner, you will play a critical role in Sales Operations Planning Process to drive planning consensus among the supply chain, Finance, and Commercial teams. Your key output would be the demand forecast for the next 18 months, which would be used for supply planning and inventory management. Locally, you will work cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, Marketing Operation, Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory Quality. Globally, you are the key linkage point between Canada and the Global Planning organizations, ensuring End-to-End visibility and synchronicity through the global value chain.
You will also implement monthly meetings in the SOP Cycle (Demand Review, Supply Review) and will contribute to the maturity of the SOP process towards IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
Responsibilities:
Lead the regional SOP process aligning communications between Commercial and Supply Chain partners and ensuring connectivity with Business Planning process.Own critical metrics related to Demand Planning (OTIF, forecast accuracy (MAPE, Bias, and FVA), On-time NPI launch and other relating objectives in Life Cycle Management) and support to other supply chain related KPIs (Inventory, SLOB, EO etc.)Review statistical forecast generated and provide input on changes that may be required.
