Demand Planner Packs (EMEA) - Temporary Contract
**Packs EMEA** (Eastpak, JanSport and Kipling) is looking for an exceptional **Demand Planner** to join our **Operations** team based in **Antwerp, Belgium** . This is a 6-months temporary contract to cover a maternity leave. **Let’s talk about the role!** You will build the demand forecast which will serve as input to the Supply planning team for their monthly buys for one of our PACKS brands (Eastpak). You will help prepare forecast templates, work with sales leads to gather their forecasts in a timely manner, analyse the seasonal forecast vs target and adjust forecasts based on actual sales, business trends and other inputs to stay aligned to financial targets. You will be part of the Packs operations team, responsible for balancing demand and supply in the most cost-effective way. **How You Will Make a Difference** You will achieve this by: **Support the Snr. Demand Planning Manager in creating a monthly and seasonal demand forecast.** + Prepare forecast templates for our sales markets + Work with sales leads to gather their forecast input at product level for their markets + Consolidate the market feedback in a seasonal demand forecast that will serve as the basis for our demand forecast + Monitor orderbook and propose changes in forecast and prepare the first insights to share with the Snr. Demand Planning Manager **Report on orderbook progression for current sell-in season** + Create and update our orderbook report to measure orderbook progression for each sales market at SKU level + Monitor and report on orderbook progression to support the Snr. Demand Planning Manager and mgmt. team in identify opportunities and risks **Support in preparation for the monthly demand review as part of the S&OP cycle** + Prepare and report on forecast changes vs prior month and suggested risks and opportunities + Support with ad-hoc demand analysis and reports depending on topics of priority for the S&OP meeting + Provide snr. Manager with key analysis and direction of forecasts to maximize decision making ability during the S&OP process **Create effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the organization** + Work with sales leads to keep them up to date on our deadlines and ensure they share their forecasts back in a timely manner + Partner with the merchandising team to ensure product data that is needed as input for the forecast templates is available and correct + Work closely with your colleagues in the Demand & Ops team and report out on your work in our team meeting and one on ones with your manager **Skills for Success** + 1-2 years’ experience in a planning role (ideally demand planning) or buying, inventory or sales planning related roles preferred. + Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to extract conclusions from available data and “tell a story” + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel. Knowledge of Power BI, IBM Cognos Analytics is an asset. + Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), proactive, able to prioritize tasks and stress resistant. + Team player but can also work independent at the same time. + Fluent in English, spoken as well as written. + Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
