We would like to invite applications for the role of Demand Planner – WDA (3rd Party Products) at our Swords or Waterford site.  This is a maternity contract position and is a hybrid role.

The Demand Planner – WDA  (3rd Party Products) role is responsible for the management of 3rd party product demand for all Teva customers, ensuring it is in line with customer requirements and is visible to the Teva 3rd party manufacturing & supply site.

A day in the life of our Demand Planner - WDA (3rd Party Products)

 

 

Manage Demand using Demand Planning systems for 3rd party products, including loading of Purchase orders to Teva third party manufacturing sites. Laise / support   Production site on all 3td party products manners. Review demand exceptions on a weekly basis to pre alert Production planners of any potential supply risks or out of stocks. Schedule and chair the bi-weekly customer meetings to validate demand forecasts and to build a strong working relationship with Teva customers. Liaise with the third party Shipping Specialist to ensure the demand and ship plan are aligned and comply with HPRA Wholesale Distribution Agreement requirements. Complete monthly demand planning processes and present reports on sale forecast and net demand requirements Using SAP, SAP APO and excel to deliver demand forecasts / sales orders to production site. Be the section’s MDG (Master data governance) SME. Update Demand Planning system with new product codes in alignment with SAP Business System. Manage abnormal Demand Requests for all customers ensuring alignment with Production Planning. Manage Customer Account queries including Financial - Create Debit/Credit notes on issues Returns/Short/Over shipments, as required. Provide back up for 3rd party Shipping Specialist and all associated activities on an ad hoc basis. Apply Opex principles to achieve improvements in 3rd party SC in order to eliminate non-value added activities & waste. Ensure all relevant Demand Planning SOP`s are up to date and compliant with WDA requirements. Ensure all activity is completed in a compliant manner – close out any related CAPA`s & Deviations in a timely manner. Ensure any Change Controls are in the correct state.
  Who we are looking for

 

Are you…. 

Educated to a 3rd Level qualification in Business or Supply Chain ideally with strong experience in high volume manufacturing environment.

 

Do you have?

Regulatory standards experience in Pharma industry(Desirable) Health & Safety/Environmental legislation exposure MRP principles and methods Experience in data analysis is a strong advantage Knowledge of Opex methodology practice and tools. MS Excel (Essential) , PowerPoint and SAP Strong verbal and written communication; collaboration and team building skills. Good planning and organising skills & adaptable to changing priorities. Ability to take responsibility and work on one’s own initiative Organised with ability to plan accordingly Can work independently but knows their boundary of responsibility Have a strong problem solving capability.
