Job Overview As the Demand Planning Analyst, you will learn Aurobindo’s Demand Planning software to assist in development of latest customer and aggregate level forecasts for all solid oral dose medicines distributed in the US market. The demand planning analyst will assist the Associate Demand Planning Manager in all demand planning activities. This position is located onsite in East Windsor, New Jersey Responsibilities Support maintenance of 15-month rolling forecast in Vangard/Oracle using data from customer-level forecasts, seasonal trends, market events, changes in awards and new product launch plans. Work with various business groups to manage the monthly cycle of updating demand information on time and distributing it. Conduct scenario analysis to anticipate demand changes and devise strategies accordingly. Review customer submitted forecasts and compare to actual sales, providing feedback to Sales on variances. Identify slow moving an overstocked items and discuss with relevant teams, followup on action items. Review and act on exceptional order release requests. Maintain monthly forecast accuracy reports and distribute. Support S&OP process by updating required Power Point slides for monthly meetings with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain. Maintain data on customer-level forecast accuracy and work with key customers to improve the process. Enhance knowledge of advanced statistical modeling techniques to assist in selecting the best models in Vangard by NDC. Other duties/projects as assigned. Qualifications - Skills & Requirements Must possess strong analytical, prioritization, communication, and strategic thinking skills. Must be able to multi-task and focus on details. Must possess a working knowledge of DRP/ERP planning systems and MicroSoft Office applications. Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable. Must speak English fluently. Strong mathmatical apptitude and written communication skills. Must be able to present data to Sr. Mgmt, Marketing/Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and SC in an effective manner. Experience with Oracle DRP, working in a global/international supply chain environment is preferred. Education & Experience BA/BS degree required, preferably in SC, Marketing, or Business 1-3 years experience in demand planning using an integrated forecasting tool is required. Pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not required. APICS Certification as CSCP desirable, or similar recognized trade association certifications.
