The Demand Planning Supervisor is responsible for overall management and direction of the production dispatchers and production coordinators within the Demand Management team.  In addition, the Demand Management Supervisor collaborates with other departments on overall schedule balancing and capacity planning.  

Highlights of your role Provide effective leadership as well as strategic and operational direction to production coordinators, dispatchers, and others in the Demand Management group.Assess and make recommendations of production and shipping schedules, by working closely with production groups, loading dock and management.Analyze real time production information to resolve imbalances in labor capacity and customer demand.Monitor execution of production plan and identify and resolve deviations.Monitor truck fill rates and unit dispositions.Collaborate with other facilities to determine best practices.Work with IT to develop analysis tools.Collaborate with plant managers to determine weekly production work schedule. Collaborate with plant managers and HR to assign new employees to appropriate departments.Collaborate with plant managers on production volunteers, hours, and department assignments.Attend daily production walks in all departments to support production schedule and people movements. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organizationComfortable developing analytic plans for a variety of business programs and projects A leader with polished and well-developed facilitation, written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertiseAssertive and confident with a strong point of view while able to understand/empathize and support other perspectives. Intent on building trusting and collaborative partnerships/relationshipsStrong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities Able to work as part of a team, focused on building a “great place to work” culture and continuously upholding the purpose and values of Marvin Also want to make sure you have Bachelor's degree in related field of study preferred Experience with software operations – ICIM, Microsoft suite3-5 years production experience, with prior management experience preferred We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin
