Regional Service Manager - South

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to provide technical support for AC800M and PMS systems in EN/ PAEN area in the Southern Region, including off-shore support, delivering superior, professional service, as an ABB demand technician. Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities.The work model for the role is: Remote This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in the Southern Region.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tProviding on-site technical support and application support when needed.•\tProvide Preventive Maintenance to ABB installed base at your customer site.•\tTroubleshooting potential equipment failures and proactively taking measures to offset/prevent and inform internal partners.•\tSuggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Associate’s degree or higher preferred, at least five years of experience years of experience in ABB’s 800xA technologies preferred. Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of above ABB technologies Knowledge of Open Protocols like MODBUS, PROFIBUS would be a plus.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
