Job Summary
Under general supervision this role provides highly responsible and moderately complex duties of an accounting or financial nature for multiple Demand Side Management / Energy Efficiency (DSM/EE) programs.Job Description
This role is a hybrid position which will report to the Shreveport General Office 3 days per week.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Collect, analyze, compile and process customer incentive payment with data supplied from others.
Associated tasks: Review customer payment data for accuracy; Collaborate with accounts payable staff as primary point of contact to successfully complete the payment processing cycle.
Interface with Demand Side Management (DSM) and Energy Efficiency (EE) program coordinator, supervisors and vendor to obtain customer incentive data points.
Develop and distribute key performance indicator (KPI) reports on customer incentive payment processing activities for use by management, program coordinators and others consisting of number of payment requests received, number of payment requests rejected or missing information, number of payment approved, number of days outstanding & trending patterns.
Provide timely response to external customer inquiries to ensure timely rebate experience; research and resolve external customer and internal AEP inquiries to successful resolution.
Establish and maintain filing and recordkeeping systems to ensure timeliness of daily workflows and clean month-end cutoffs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education requirements are listed below:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management or accounting.
Work Experience requirement listed below: 1 years work experience with accounts payable process or general accounting processes.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Physical demand level is Sedentary
1. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Experience with personal computer, databases and spreadsheets in data analysis and an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP.)
3. Strong communication skills ' ability to effectively and clearly communicate in person and by written / electronic means.
4. Use independent judgement to review, initiate and handle job duties and recommend improvements to work flows.
