YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan demand/supply and steer performance, including but not limited to forecast accuracy and forecast bias, as well as escalate risks for decision makingDrive Demand Review meeting and facilitate effective communication between sales, marketing, finance and supply chain, aligning market insights with the overall business strategy, ensuring that demand planning activities are in sync with customer needs for the short termCreate scenario planning for most relevant product for short term. Align and assess costs and impact with E2E supply network ManagerSupply planning for CMOs, in licensed supplierMain stakeholder of product teams (supply agent) to understand supply situation andto communicate forecast/market changes on the short term when neededManagement of risk of obsolescence/ potential write-off in alignment with commercialRepresent country in regional S&OP meetings by providing input on key performance metrics, root cause analysis and financial reconciliationLead supply chain related launch and to ensure the correct and timely implementation of change applications on finished goods, with the possibility of splitting supply agent and change management activities based on product networks/organizationSupport bottleneck management, including but not limited to analyzing country demand, defining allocations together with commercial, aligning recommendations with regional supply chain, CMOs and licensed supplier to overseeing execution of agreed measuresBuild-up and maintain in-depth understanding of demand planning techniques and trends to fuel continuous improvement
WHO YOU ARE:
University degree or above7-10 years life sciences experience gained at a leading multi-national company is preferredStrong knowledge of demand/supply planning processes including CMO management experience is requiredStrong understanding of business and finance acumen Experience in dealing with global teams and global projectsProven track record of driving performanceSolid understanding of commercial operations in a life sciences contextOutstanding analytical skills and ability to analyze big dataConfident and enthusiasticEffective communication and negotiation skillsCapable to handle stressful situationsLanguages: Business level of English (able to interact with global colleagues and work on global project) Japanese (N1) or above for non-Japanese candidates
